Global Open Water Swimming Conference 2014

The Global Open Water Swimming Conference is an annual gathering of open water swimmers, marathon swimmers, ice swimmers, channel swimmers, adventure swimmers, race directors, multi-sport endurance, athletes, coaches, writers, scientists, physicians, marine biologists, trainers, escort pilots, vendors, sponsors, promoters, and officials in the sport.
The 2014 Global Open Water Conference is being held on the beautiful Isle of Bute, 2 hours from Glasgow, Scotland between 17 to 21 September. It will be attended by enthusiasts and luminaries from six continents, and is devoted to providing information about the latest information in the sport.
The 2014 Global Open Water Swimming Conference will present the following awards:
Between 1970 and 1995, no open water swimmers were selected for inclusion in the International Swimming Hall of Fame. The ISHOF Board of Directors authorized a special ceremony to honor 8 truly great Open Water Swimmers as ISHOF Honourees into the ISHOF in Scotland.
